Make it look professional

Logo, photos and the details that make owners say yes.

By the end: A website that looks like a real brand, not a template.

Steps

  1. Use their real photos

Owners trust their own shop. Take photos from their Google listing or Instagram (ask permission when you meet them) and clean them up with Photoroom — remove messy backgrounds, fix the light.

  2. Logo, if they have none

Generate logo ideas with the business name in Ideogram (it spells text well). Pick one, then recreate it as a clean vector in Recraft so it stays sharp on signs and stickers.

  3. One accent colour, two fonts

Ask Claude to use one accent colour taken from the logo or shop, one font for headlines and one for text. Consistency looks expensive.

  4. The 5-second test

Show the page to a friend for 5 seconds on a phone. Ask: what is this business, what does it cost, how do I book? If they can't answer, simplify.

Replace everything in [brackets] with the real details.

Logo ideas (Ideogram)
Minimal logo for “[Business name]”, a [type of business] in [city]. Flat, black on white, simple icon of [object] next to the name in a modern sans-serif. No gradients, no extra text.
Brand polish (Claude)
Restyle this website as a premium brand: use [colour] as the only accent, a characterful display font for headings and a clean font for text (from Google Fonts), consistent spacing, and subtle hover states. Keep all content.

Done when…

  • Photos are the business's own (with permission)
  • Logo works in black and white
  • Only one accent colour
  • Passes the 5-second test
