Acceptable use policy
Radar helps you offer website services to businesses. To keep that fair for the businesses you contact — and legal for you — every user must follow these rules. They are part of our Terms.
1. Follow the outreach rules of each country
- Check the country rules shown on every lead. Where sales emails or calls need prior consent (for example Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Romania or Poland), make the first contact in person or by letter and only email or call after the business agrees.
- Record consent in Radar when you get it, with who agreed and how. Don't record consent you didn't receive.
- Always say who you are. Every email must show your business name and postal address, which Radar adds automatically.
- The country rules in Radar are guidance, not legal advice. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and to the business you contact (e.g. GDPR, ePrivacy rules, UWG, PECR, CAN-SPAM, CASL).
2. Respect “no”
- Stop contacting a business as soon as it says no, replies STOP, or uses the opt-out link. Radar blocks further outreach automatically; don't work around it with other tools.
- Never contact a business that has been removed from Radar.
3. Use the data only for its purpose
- Use unlocked contact details only to offer your own website or digital services to that business.
- Don't resell, publish, share or bulk-export the data to third parties, or use it to build another database.
- Don't contact private individuals or use home addresses or private numbers, even if they appear in a listing.
- No automated scraping of Radar, and no sharing accounts outside your team seats.
4. Be honest
- Mockups must stay clearly marked as previews. Don't imply that a business ordered something it didn't, or that you are affiliated with Google, Foursquare or any other brand.
- No pressure tactics, fake deadlines or false claims about a business's reviews or competitors.
- No spam: no mass, identical messages to many businesses at once.
5. What happens if the rules are broken
We may warn you, limit features, or suspend or close the account without refund for serious or repeated breaches, and cooperate with authorities where required. Report abuse to liam@foundly.us.
